AutoTransTech opened the season of events in 2019 in the very center of Europe. The technical seminar was held on April 4-5 in the Czech capital, Prague, and clearly demonstrated that there are no borders and distances to gain new knowledge. Almost the whole skeleton of our regular participants in the seminars was present; those few who could not come had really good good reasons. Moreover, the AutoTransTech seminar in Europe showed great interest in this form of obtaining relevant information among the transmission industry workers not only in local locations, but also from much more distant countries.

This time, the topics of the lecturers' presentations were so topical that each presentation ended with numerous questions from the audience and lively discussion. The audience very warmly accepted the report of the new lecturer Eric Stalebo (LBM AutoParts, Sweden) on the correct organization of sales in the transmission business. Traditionally, the seminar participants were interested in the reports of our overseas colleagues Robbie Ferguson (Raybestos, USA) and Steve Garrett (ATRA, USA) with his story about the latest transmissions of Ford and GeneralMotors, and no less than ¬ speeches by Alexander Shatkov (Kenergo, Belarus), dedicated to diagnostics solenoids, as well as Yuri Alexandrov (LuKSchaeffler - Russia) with an analysis of the market for robotic transmissions and a story about the production technology of double dry clutches of the LuKSchaeffler brand. The last topic was doubly interesting for those participants of the seminar who were able to visit the plant of this company in the city of Bul (Germany) on the eve of an excursion.

The high reputation of AutoTransTech seminars has developed due to the exclusivity and depth of the material presented, therefore, a steady increase in the number of listeners occurs over and over again, including due to participants from other countries. This time the seminar brought together 80 participants, of which 18 people came for the first time. New participants from Germany, Israel, the Czech Republic, Turkey and also from new participating countries - Great Britain, Denmark, Tunisia and Sweden joined us. Also, many foreign guests attended the AvtoTransTech Prague workshop, including representatives of leading manufacturers of components and spare parts (GFX, Sonnax, Newco Autoline, Sussex Autoparts, TransTec, etc.)

This time really was a lot for the first time. In particular, the tradition of recent seminars did not materialize when our arrival was accompanied by unpleasant weather anomalies. The Czech Republic pleased the participants with spring sun and warmth, which was very helpful, because an exciting excursion program was prepared, within the framework of which it was possible to satisfy not only professional interest by visiting the LuKSchaeffler company, but also expand your horizons by familiarizing yourself with the sights of Prague itself and other cities Czech Republic and even visiting the nearest European countries - Germany and Austria.

At the end of the seminar, the traditional relay transfer from Czech colleagues, Andrei and Nikita Suvyazov from Suvik, who provided invaluable assistance in organizing the Prague seminar, to the representative of Yekaterinburg, Denis Morozov, where the next AutoTransTech retreat will be held at the end of November, took place.
